ELECTRIC POWER SUPPLY SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To make a device miniature and lightweight while reducing an electric power loss by providing a capacitor in series between a high-frequency AC generating source and load device and by charging it via high impedance while using the charging voltage as a trigger voltage for the load. CONSTITUTION:Electric power source 5 is an AC generating source which generates an AC voltage of a high frequency higher than 20kHz, for example, and develops an output voltage a little bit higher than the stationary voltage of load device 1 after the start of its discharge. Between this generating source 5 and load device 1, capacitor 6 is connected in series; and AC high-voltage generating circuit 7 of simple constitution like a multiple voltage circuit charges capacitor 6 with its DC high- voltage output via charging resistor 8 with high impedance and its charging voltage is used as a trigger voltage for load device 1. Thus, an electric power loss is greatly reduced and the power supply device is made miniature and lightweight on the whole.
