PURPOSE:To perform optionally independent adjustement for load of a spring and pressure of gas, by such means that pressure liquid is supplied by an adjusting pump to a liquid collection chamber partitioned by a piston and discharged from a through hole by a suitable stroke then a check valve is opened when pressure in the liquid collection chamber goes down below that in a liquid chamber. CONSTITUTION:When the tension of a spring 8 is increased, an adjusting screw 26 is turned to depress a piston 25, then working liquid flows from a liquid pressure chamber 17A to a liquid collection chamber 14 in accordance with the quantity of depression to push up an annular piston 10 and increase initial load of the spring 8. When a compression ratio of gas is desired to the decreased, the piston 25 is moved rightward, then a check valve 20 is opened by a pressure difference to flow out the working liquid from a liquid chamber C to the liquid pressure chamber 17A through the liquid collection chamber 14, lower a liquid level in a gas chamber D and decrease initial pressure of gas. To increase only a compression ratio of gas, an adjusting pump 11 is depressed by a stroke (e) to move the piston 10 to its uppermost position, then the pump 11 is delivery operated to raise a level in the liquid chamber C. |
