PURPOSE:To enable to obtain copies of an image with good quality by providing electromagnetic clutches which change over two units of motors driving reciprocative driving means for the light source and mirror of a copier and rotative driving means for a photoreceptor. CONSTITUTION:When a motor M1 runs in an arrow direction, the pulleys 21, 1b (photoreceptor pulleys) etc. connected to belts 23, 24 revolve at a constant speed. At the exposure scanning, a motor M2 is energized to run in the A direction, and a pulley 26 is revolved by a belt 27. As a clutch C2 is energized, a pulley 29 revolves, and mirror carriages 7a, 8a begin to move in the A direction by way of a wire 30. When the speed thereof reaches a predetermined speed, a clutch C1 is energized and the clutch C2 and the motor M2 are turned OFF, then they are driven by the motor M1 only. When a switch SM2 goes ON at the scanning end, the motor M2 runs reverse and the clutch C1 goes OFF and C2 ON, then the mirror carriages 7a, 8a move backward in the opposite direction. Thereby, the good image quality is obtained without any change in speed. |
