发明名称 DETECTOR FOR ABSOLUTE MEASUREMENT OF RADIATION ENERGY
摘要 PURPOSE:To perform an absolute measurement of radiation energy without using a standard light source by receiving a radiant rays from the window of a box to which a radiant ray absorbing membrane is fitted in order to change light to heat and installing a temperature detecting element and a heater for calibration inside the box. CONSTITUTION:Light to be measured is received from light receiving window 1 into box 2 made of a thin film. The received light is absorbed into black-painted absorbing membrane 3 inside box 2 and converted into heat. Since the internal temperature of box 2 rises in proportion to the quantity of incident light, the temperature is measured by temperature sensitive element 4 to measure the absolute value of incident light. In this case, accuracy will be increased by calibrating the increase of the loss of energy caused by the rise of internal temperature with heater 5 for calibration. Thus, absolute measurement is available for light with any kind of wave length without use of a standard light source by means of an extremely simple device.
