PURPOSE:To increase electrical, mechanical, and thermal characteristics and to try the improvement of workability and producibility as well by using a filament around the leads and terminals of a coil to be molded and a sheet-shaped insulating material for an insulating layer at the external circumference of other coils. CONSTITUTION:A sheet-shaped porous insulating material 6, for example, a glass chopped strand mat or glass cloth, is applied to the external circumference of a coil except the vicinity of the terminals of previously wound and formed elementary coil and the coil is assembled with terminals in a metal mold 4 for fixing. Then an insulating filament 7, for example, a glass chopped strand, is filled in the space between the vicinity of lead and terminal sections and the metal mold 4 from the upper opening of the metal mold 4. After preheating and deairing these, high vacuum is applied in a vacuum tank to immerse epoxy resin including no filler or the like. Furthermore, heating and hardening are performed to obtain a mold coil. |
