PURPOSE:To permit the transportation of a winding with a large external diameter by extending a reinforcing beam for the bottom of a dished bottom tank as far as a flange wherein a reinforcing beam for reinforcing longitudinal direction is provided to an upper tank at the location opposing to the bottom reinforcing beam and both flanges are coupled with coupling metal fittings to reduce the flange width of the tanks. CONSTITUTION:A large-capacity transformer is composed of a dished bottom tank 11 having a flange 12 and an upper tank 13 for transportation having a flange 14 coupling with the flange 12 and the tank 11 is provided with a bottom reinforcing beam 11A extending as far as the flange 12 for reinforcing the bottom part of the tank 11. Furthermore, a reinforcing beam 21 for reinforcing longitudinal direction is provided with an upper tank 13 at the location opposing to the beam 11A. And the beam 21 is provided so that the one end and the other end may reach a reinforcing beam 2 for reinforcing transverse direction and a flange 14 respectively. In this way, each flange 12, 14 section will be reinforced. In this method, mechanical strength at both flange sections will sufficiently be reinforced and the opening of the flanges during transportation will be eliminated. |
