PURPOSE:To provide a steep plate of which the suitability for phosphate treatment to the surface of ground metal is extremely improved as well as for the electrodeposition painting thereafter is enhanced comprising applying a predetermined amount of a zinc plating to a highly cleaned surface of the cold rolled steel plate. CONSTITUTION:On a surface of the cold rolled steel plate which has been subjected to the surface treatment to a high cleaning degree by a conventional method for continuously annealing said steel plate in a reductive atmosphere, 0.2-0.03g/m<2>, especially, 0.15-0.03g/m<2> of zinc plating is applied. Said cold rolled steel plate to which the zinc plating is applied has the phosphate treatment suitability and the electrodeposition painting property at least equal to that of a batch type box annealing material in a conventional process and, in addition, has painting corrosion resistance far excellent than that of said batch type box annealing material, when painting is applied. |
