PURPOSE:To improve cooling efficiency, by piercingly installing plural metallic round bars of a good thermal conductivity onto a natural goocing fin whose base is provided with plural flat fins in parallel positions. CONSTITUTION:A base 1 is provided with plural flat fins 2 in parallel positions, metallic round bars 3 of a good thermal conductivity are arranged at prescribed intervals in such a manner that the bars pass through between the flat fins, and the bars are installed by soldering, etc. A semiconductor element 4 is installed onto the base 1. In this mechanism, heat generating from the element 4 conducts from the base 1 to the fins 2 and cooled by air flow caused by natural convection. At this time, the round bars 3 serve the purpose not only of dissipating the heat but also of improving heat conductivity by causing turbulence to natural convection between the fins. It is possible, by doing so, to improve cooling efficiency. |
