<p>The rotary harrow comprises sets of rotary tines driven by intermeshing gears forming a gear train from a main gear driven by the tractor power take-off. It comprises two parallel rows of pairs of rotary tines, and at regular intervals, those in one row being staggered in relation to the other, and running transversely. All the driving shafts of the pairs of tines engage and rotate in opposite directions, under the action of gears, meshing together to form a gear train. Each gear is keyed to the drive shaft of the respective pair of tines.</p> |
