The system has a control circuit with two control relays and two timing stages. The timing stage for the antitheft device that responds to the locking command is selected a second time by the antitheft command so that the servo motor again receives an operating pulse of given duration. The setting element of the setting drive is thereby moved into the antitheft position. For the release of the antitheft device, the timing stage that responds to the unlocking command is selected by the unlocking command, whereupon the servo motor is moved directly from the antitheft position to the unlocked position.
