PURPOSE:To obtain a picture of stability free from unevenness, by sticking toner to a latent-image forming member via holes of an elecrode by the amount that corresponds to the potential of the latent image. CONSTITUTION:Developing device 1 is equipped with toner carrying roller 3 provided opposing to photoreceptor drum 2 on which an electrostatic latent image is formed, and container 5 provided covering the roller 3 from its upper side to its lower side to contain toner 4. In development area 6, porous electrode 7 is provided between photoreceptor drum 2 and toner carrying roller 3, and between electrode 7 and roller 3, an alternating voltage is applied from power source 8. To obtain this toner carrying roller 3, the surface of a conductive rubber roller is covered with metallic meshes of about #200. |
