A method of making plastics film which is simultaneously stretched biaxially, esp. crystalline plastics film such as polyolefin, consists of carrying out a longitudinal stretching before the simultaneous biaxial streching stage. The appratus for making biaxially stretched film consists of injection unit(1), nozzle(2), cooling cylinder(3), and stretching unit(5).
