PURPOSE:To simplify a means for adjusting the scales by automatically computing the reference constant from digital signals at two points of time when a standard weight is made to act on a scale and when an article to be weighed is zero and from the range of weighing, etc. CONSTITUTION:The weights of the scale 1 and the article 2 to be weighed are detected by a weight converter 3 and transmitted to a central processing device (CPU)5 through the intermediary of an A/D converter 4, and the weight of the article 2 to be weighed is indicated digitally on an indicator 6. The CPU5 or an operating part 7 is provided with a zero-point setting device 8 for making the CPU5 memorize as the zero point of the scale a count number delivered from the A/D converter 4 when the scale 1 is in the state of no load and with a constant setting device 9 which makes the CPU5 compute the reference constant from a count number delivered from the A/D converter 4 when the standard weight is made to act on the scale 1 and a count number in the state of no load, makes the same memorize the reference constant and sets a weight value in the weighing range, etc. on the basis of the reference constant. |
