PURPOSE:To enhance the photoelectron-converting efficiency of a photoelectrode by treating the photoelectrode whose main component is a molybdenum chalcogenide within a solution in which any one of a molybdenum complex, a tungsten complex and a ruthenium complex is dissolved. CONSTITUTION:The main component of a photoelectric for a wet photocell is a molybdenum chalcogenide, such as molybdenum sulfide or molybdenum selendie. The photoelectrode is treated by immersing it in a solution which contains any one of a molybdenum complex such as ammonium molybdate, a tungsten complex such as sodium tungstate, and a ruthenium complex such as ruthenium trichloride. The above metal complex sholud be used by dissolving it in a polar solvent such as water, methanol, DMF or DMSO. |
