<p>The modular heating block provides hot water and includes a casing (1) forming a reservoir with at least one heating element (3). Connection (5) are provided on one side of the heating element leading to a hot water take-off line and a connection (6) on the other side which is either coupled to the central heating circuit or to the domestic hot water circuit or to a combination of the two. The heating element (3) is pref. positioned horizontally within a sleeve (2) between two halves of the casing (1). The heating element (3) is screwed into place. The heating block can be used in conjunction with a central heating boiler or a heat stove, e.g. for a solar heating system and is used to provide hot water if the boiler is not in use or if the temp. of the water from the heat store is insufficient. Alternatively, the system allows a small part of the total water reservoir to be heated for night-time use. The system is designed to provide an adaptable economical central heating and/or domestic hot water system.</p> |
