PURPOSE:To realize a communication between the facsimile transmitter and receiver having different standards, by relaying the circuit facsimile signal by the store and forward exchange system and thus providing a function as an interface converter between the facsimile transmission and reception pictures. CONSTITUTION:A demodulation and decoding necessary for an adverse conversion are applied at the reception process part 1 to the facsimile signal supplied from the relaying input line. Thus the source facsimile signal 10 is produced. The signal 10 is then converted into the digital facsimile signal 11 converted into the voltage level through the A/D converter 2, and the signal 11 is stored in the floppy disk device 3 and then read out successively to be put into the D/A converter 4. Thus the signal 11 is converted into the source facsimile signal 13 having the voltage level corresponding to the numerical value and then converted into the circuit facsimile signal through the transmission process part 5 to suit to the standards of the coding system, modulating system, scanning speed and others of the facsimile picture receiver. Then the circuit facsimile signal is transmitted to the relaying output circuit. The common control part 6 performs a sequence control for the whole device. |
