PURPOSE:To increase the density of a kneaded sheet and improve the granule yields after grinding by elastically contacting a disc cutter between the stripping plate disposed on the low-temp. roll side end part of heat rolls to which a premixture is supplied and a rolling roll. CONSTITUTION:A premixture of phenolic resin powder and fillers, etc. is continuously supplied between heat rolls 1 and 2. This mixture is kneaded by the narrow gap between the rolls 1, 2, and while it is being wound on the low-temp. roll, it is brought to the end part of the roll 2 by plural guide blades 3, and is made into a continuous ribbonlike kneaded sheet B by a stripping plate 5. Before this stripping, the kneaded material A is compressed under pressure with a rolling roll 4 to have higher density, thence it is scored with a disc cutter 6. This prevents the kneaded sheet B from lowering its density again at the time of pulling it off from the kneaded material A. Also, the changing and uniformalizing of the width and thickness of the kneaded sheet B are made easy and the specific gravity of the kneads sheet B is adjusted with good accuracy. |
