<p>The safety valve has a plug working against a seat in a housing between inlet and outlet, and spring-loaded shut. The housing (10), with a union (24) forming the inlet (12), forms a seal where it fits interchangeably in a passage (26) in a branch (28) connected to the boiler. The outlet (14) is formed by a passage in a further branch (30) on the valve housing, outside the passage to the boiler. This further branch can be of elastic plastic, being clamped to a rigid portion (32) of the valve housing.</p> |
