<p>PURPOSE:The titled ink composition preventing nozzle clogging, bubble inclusion, providing ink drops of proper shape, comprising a polyethylene glycol with a specific polymerization degree and water-soluble dye in such a way that its viscosity and surface tension are made in specific ranges respectively. CONSTITUTION:The desired ink composition, having a viscosity 4-20 centipoise and a surface tension 40-60 dyne/cm (at 25 deg.C respectively) comprising an aqueous solution consisting of water-soluble acidic direct dye (having a solubility preferably not less than 0.5wt%) and a polyethylene glycol having a degree of polymerization 4-25 (preferably 4-10) as main ingredients. The amount of the polyethylene glycol used is preferably 30-60wt%.</p> |
