摘要 <p>The arrangement is used for measuring the rotation angle of a measurement shaft and uses a comparison shaft rotating uniformly and coaxial with the measurement shaft. The time is measured between transducers rotating with the comparison shaft and fixed on the measurement shaft. A higher data rate is achieved compared to previous arrangements without increasing the revolution rate. Alternatively, a lower revolution rate can be used without reducing the data rate. The transducer (5) rotating with the comparison shaft (2) produces different signals at two or more equidistant points (6) on a circular path concentric with the shafts. The transducer has two pairs of magnetic poles (8) and two pole dependent magnetic field sensors (9). The pole pairs or sensors are of opposite polarity whilst the measurement point units (6) are of like polarity.</p>
