Bottle grinding mark removal method - applies grinding agent to outside after sealing and leaves it there during transport

The method removes grinding marks formed on the outside of bottles during handling. The handling machine includes a filling and sealing mechanism, also a multi-track conveyor which transports the bottles at irregular intervals. After sealing the bottles, a grinding and polishing agent is applied to the outside of the bottles, and is left there during part at least of the subsequent transport operations at irregular intervals. The agent can be dispersed in water and sprayed on, and the bottles can be caused to rotate as they are transported, being brought into contact with a polishing tool in the process.
