<p>The grease gun for windscreen wiper stubs has a screw fitting over the stub, after the wiper arm and rubber seal have been removed. The grease is forced into the stub bearing by screwing down a plunger (1) in the top of the gun. The greasing prolongs the life of the wiper linkage. The gun is screwed onto the stub after loosening the packing to allow grease to flow into the bearing. Graphite grease packs the bearing and protects it. The gun is simple and effective and requires little skill to use. The wiper linkage does not have to be removed.</p> |
