PURPOSE:To prevent an occurrence of abnormal sound that is caused by the sticking of dust or the like, by coating at a speaker edge part a damping agent composed by mixing silicone oil or silicone varnish or the like having a chemical formula with the main component silicone rubber group having a prescribed chemical formula and then securing a good temperatur characteristics of the damping agent. CONSTITUTION:The edge 9 of a diaphragm 8 is fixed to the frame 6 connected to the magnetic circuit 1, and the voice coil 10 is connected to the diaphragm 8. Then the coil 10 is fitted into the magnetic gap 12 of the circuit 1. Thus a speaker is formed. Then a silicon-group resin is obtained for the damping agent 14 by mixing the silicone oil group of the chemical formula II or the silicone varnish group of the chemical formula III when necessary with the main component silicone rubber of the chemical formula I. Such damping agent 14 is coated on the edge 9 of the speaker. Then an exellent temperature characteristics is secured for the agent 14 to reduce the variation with time as well as to prevent the sticking of dust or the like. As a result, the occurrence of an abnormal sound is prevented. |
