<p>A closure for a deformable or rigid container, tube or other structure provided with an opening comprises a unitary body of synthetic-resin material adapted to be pressed onto the body around the opening. The closure comprises a lower member hingedly connected to a cap, the cap having, opposite its hinge connection to the roller member, a lever-like projection or extension. This extension has a pressing surface and a hook formation engageable with a detent formed on the lower member or base so that, to permit opening of the cap, the surface is pressed inwardly to release the hook from the detent formation, whereupon the cap can be swung upwardly at its hinge joint.</p> |
