PURPOSE:To obtain a smooth characteristic of operation for a buffer by providing basi ends of sliding members of a cylinder, an inner tube, an outer tube, and the like with spherical connecting faces for spherical connection and aligning them in the same desirable axis. CONSTITUTION:A contact face A between a spring adjustment ring 10 connected with an upper bracket 1 and a spring guide 9 connected with an outer tube 14 is shaped into a spherical face of a radius R1 round a fixed position O2 on the sliding axis of a piston rod 4. Besides, a fixed gap delta1 between the under side of a nut 3 of the upper bracket 1 and the upper side of the spring guide 9, a fixed gap d2-d1 between the inner circumference of the spring guide 9 and the periphery of the piston rod 4, and a fixed gap D1-D2 between the inner circumference of the outer tube 14 and the periphery of the spring adjustment ring 10, are provided for constructing the sliding axis of the piston rod to be freely inclined to sliding axes of tubes 14 and 17. |
