PURPOSE:To reduce not only the capacity of a buffer memory but the access time, by providing three pairs of small-capacity buffer memories to a disk device and then securing an independent control of the data among these buffer memories. CONSTITUTION:The read data 3 delivered from the digital converter 2 is allotted alternately to 6-a and 6-b of the data buffer memory 6. First the memory 6-a is filled up, and thus the data are sent in parallel to the corresponding line buffer memory 7 of each of the units aA-aD which a buffer memory 6. Then the data is sent onto the line when the memory 7 is filled up. On the other hand, the read data still delivered are stored in parallel into the memory 6-b. The size of the buffer memory is decided so that the write-in of the memory 6-b is unfinished at the moment when the transmission completes for the contents of the memory 7. As a result, the read data are transmitted outside. |
