PURPOSE:To prolong a service life of a roller bearing which is driven at high speeds, by supporting keepers whose external diameters are larger than the external diameter of a rotation shaft of said roller bearing, in contact with its periphery. CONSTITUTION:Three supporting shafts 8 parallel with a rotation shaft 2 are circumferentially disposed around the shaft 2 at equal intervals and each supporting shaft 8 is held inside a pair of bearing stands 11 securely mounted on a bed 10, with a roller or ball bearing 9 interposed between the shaft 8 and the stands 11. A disclike keeper 16 is secured to each supporting shaft 8. An external periphery of each keeper 16 contacts the rotation shaft 2 so that the keepers 16 may be turned by the rotation shaft 2. And the three keepers 16 hold the rotation shaft 2 so as to be freely turned, and each external diameter of the three 16 is larger than the external diameter of the rotation shaft 2. |
