PURPOSE:To reduce greatly the queuing state and thus increase an overall efficiency of a multiprocessor, by setting a plural number of system common buses and then selecting and using an applicable system common bus by each processor. CONSTITUTION:The processors 2 and 2 are going to give an access to the shared input/output device 9 each while the processors 1 and 1 are giving an access to the shared memory 8 each. In such case, the processors 2 and 2 acquire the using right of the system common buses 3 and 10 by the bus selectors 11 and 12. Here the access is permitted for the multiport controllers 13 and 14 since they are going to give an access only to the buses 3 and 10. As a result, the processors 1 and 1 give an access to the memory 8 each, and at the same time the processors 2 and 2 can give an access to the device 9 respectively. |
