<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate head positioning in editing and so on, by providing a tape tension mechanism for preventing the tape from being loosed when the reel is rotated manually to position the head of a tune at the tape editing time. CONSTITUTION:The relation between tape tension F and torque T of the tape driving motor is shown with the winding diameter of the tape, F=2T/D is obtained. For the purpose of keeping F constant, torque T proportional to winding diameter D of the tape is given to the motor. When the tape is stopped at the tape editing time, outputs of torque setting means 2A and 2B are applied from respective power amplifiers 4A and 4B to respective reel driving motors 5A and 5B through detection outputs 1A and 1B of the tape winding diameter and mode instructing means 3 which corrects frictional resistance components for every mode. In the tape running time and the tape stop time, tape tension is kept constant.</p> |
