<p>PURPOSE:To inhibit the output of the detecting circuit of the photodetector temporarily to reproduce information stably from the winding start state when the magnetic tape and the light transmittable leader tape are discriminated from each other photoelectrically to control driving of the tape. CONSTITUTION:The output of detecting circuit DC and the collector of switching transistor TRS of control circuit CC are connected to tape running control circuit TC. Control circuit CC is provided with delay circuit DC' and comparator RF2 constituting the Schmitt circuit. When the control signal is applied to control terminal P6 of control circuit CC according to the reproducing operation, switching transistor TRS is inverted to the nonconductive state after a prescribed time due to delay circuit DC'. Therefore, the output of comparator RF1 is inputted to tape running control circuit TC. If the delay time of delay circuit DC' is set to a time euqal to or longer than the running time of the light transmittable leader tape, the mechanism controlling mechanism and so on are prevented from being operated erroneously.</p> |
