<p>Image reflecting screens suitable for use in microfiche readers and the like are produced by a method which substantially reduces the cost of production by eliminating the need to plate the reflecting surface of the screen. The method of the present invention includes the steps of laminating a sheet of light reflecting foil to a sheet of fibrous material such as paperboard, placing the laminated sheet in a mould for forming a parabolic screen with the reflective foil abutting the wall of the mould that forms the parabolic surface of the screen and injecting the mould with a flowable plastics material and setting the plastics material whereby to form a screen and fuse the plastics material to the sheet of fibrous material.</p> |
