PURPOSE:To prevent the clogging of filter plate as well as to make the exchange of filter easier by arranging vertically and horizontally perforated filter plates through supporting frameworks in such a way as to avoid superposition of through holes on those of the other filter plates. CONSTITUTION:A cleaner is fitted into a painting booth and an exhaust fan is operated. Air containing mist is passed through the through holes 3 of laminated filter plates 1 and goes in zig-zag way in a chamber 6, where the mist collides on and adheres to each filter plate 1 and supporting framework 5. The filter plates 1 are laminated through supporting framworks 5 in an appropriate number in such an arranging way that the through holes 3 are not be superposed on each other by biasing one by one the positions of the through holes 3 of mutually adjacent filter plates vertically or horizintally. When the dust removing effect of the filter plate is lowered, the air cleaner can be easily exchanged with another one because of cartridge type. The used air cleaner can be simply burned by an usual incinerator because of its good combustibility. |
