PURPOSE:To conserve the man hours by a method wherein first and second photoelectric switches are placed with a specified spacing therebetween and a defective article is taken out for rejection when both the switches detect the article simultaneously. CONSTITUTION:The first photoelectric switch SW1 for detecting the constructional members 2 is placed on either side of a conveyor 1 conveying the members 2 such as panels, the second photoelectric switch SW2 also for detecting the members 2 is placed on the rear side of the switch SW1, the spacing between the switches being slightly larger than the length of the member 2, and the switches SW1 and SW2 constitute an AND circuit. A defect taking-out device 4 such as a pusher is placed on the front side of the conveyor 1 and is operated when both the switches SW1 and Sw2 detect the member 2, thereby enabling the conservation of man hours. |
