PURPOSE:To unnecessitate precise adjustment of the device by a method wherein a light from a sample to be analyzed is made to pass through a filter capable of sorting wavelength, the sample is analyzed from the light received by a light-receiving element through the intermediary of an optical fiber and thereby the will hardly affect the analyzing operation the influence of vibrations. CONSTITUTION:The light generated from the sample 11 to be analyzed is led to the filter 13 by the optical fiber 12. The light sorted in wavelength by the filter 13 is led to the light-receiving element 15 by an optical fiber 14, and in the element 15, by detecting the intensity of the light, the analysis of whether or not any material corresponding to the wavelength of the light exists in the sample 11 is performed. In this way, only by aligning the optical axis of the filter 13 with those of the fibers 12 and 14, the device can be employed even in the place where there is much vibration or in any other similar places, while any other complexed arrangement for alignment becomes unnecessary. |
