PURPOSE:To make possible color correction by a masking method and perform copying of good color reproduction by disposing a screen photorecpetor adjacently to a main photoreceptor. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical screen photoreceptor 20 for color correction is disposed adjacently to a main photoreceptor 10. The photoreceptor 20 is constituted by providing a photoconductor 20b to a screen metal 20a. A charger 22 which emitts the corona ions of the polarity opposite from the surface potential of the main photoreceptor 10 toward the surface of the main receptor 10 is provided on the back side of the photoreceptor 20. Further, in order to form an electrostatical mask on the photoreceptor 20, a charger 21 is disposed on the upper stream of the charger 22 with respect to the rotating direction around the photoreceptor 20 and a destaticizing lamp 23 and a destaticizing charger 26 are disposed on the lower stream. Part of beams of light are branched by the half-mirror 25 in an optical system 13, and expose the surface between the chargers 21 and 22 of the photoreceptor 20. |
