PURPOSE:To prevent the edge of the doctor blade from being damaged, by making a cylindrical lubricant replenishing member which stretches in the width direction of the recording body, retains a lubricant at least on its outside surface, and can be rotated freely, contact with the surface of the recording body, and supplying the lubricant onto the surface of the recording body. CONSTITUTION:The lubricant replenishing member 8 encloses a lubricant 10 in the porch 9 consisting of cloth having a coarse texture or cloth having fine holes, also it is forme cylindrically, and it has a shape by which the shaft 11 is made to pass through in the axial core direction and is supported. And, this lubricant replenishing member 8 is supported by the L-arm 13 which is supported by the pin 12 so as to be rocked freely, so that it can be rotated freely and also run along the width direction of the recording body 1. And, when the lubricant replenishing member 8 is located so as to contact with the surface of the recording body by exciting the solenoid 15, the lubricant 10 in the porch adheres onto the surface 1a of the record- ing body through the texture or the fine holes, the adhering lubricant adheres the edge 7a and scrapes the residual development tone powder, and in this case, its frictional force is reduced and damage of the edge 7a is prevented. |
