The rear mirror is reversible and can be fitted on either side of a vehicle. The case (3) has a depression (3a) on one side wall and is symmetrical. The support is a foot (2), shaped to engage in the depression. The fixings (5,6) for the case to the foot suit two possible orientations. In plan view the depression (3a) makes an angle of 45 degrees with the front face of the case (3). The fixing is formed of a single screw (5) in the intersection of the case (3) and the depression (3a). This has a nut (6).
