Side discharge for tipping hopper - has powered helicoidal screw driven to orifice covered by pivotal closed door

The hopper has a rear panel (18) which partly houses a driven helicoidal screw (20), coaxial with an outlet (38). There are side fitting flanges (12,14) on the hopper. The outlet has a closing door (38) pivoted at its top normally held closed. The drive for the screw is a motor and transmission on one fixing flange (12). The fixed rear panel (18) is inclined upwards and downwards from the screw, making a triangular opening towards the hopper fixings. The orifice is a tubular sleeve with a toroidal sealing joint where it contacts the door.
