PURPOSE:To make it possible to detect a maximum input signal easily by sending a larger input signal out of two input signals to a latch circuit to store it and setting up a sequential signal comparing part which makes the stored signal return to one of the input sides as a comparing standard. CONSTITUTION:Sequential signal comparing part CMP which compares two input out of input signals A, B and C, sends a larger input signal to latch circuit LAT to store it and makes the stored signal return to one of the input sides as a comparing standard is installed. Control part CNT sends plural signals to be compared sequentially with appropriate timing to the other side of comparing part CMP according to the counted contents of a clock signal. Maximum input latch part MAXLAT reads out the counting signal outputted from control part CNT according to the decision signal outputted from comparing part CMP when a signal to be compared is larger than the standard and stores the read counting signal as the maximum input signal number at present. Thus, the maximum input signal can be easily detected. |
