PURPOSE:To perform an addition of data to a desired sector in a short time, by obtaining a sector address through a comparison of the key field data. CONSTITUTION:The key field data DB is transmitted from the CPU, and the read instruction RDK of the key field data DASDATA is transmitted from a filing device. The ID address counter is reset with every start of read of each track, and the ID address counter 11 is counted up by the SECTOR signal with every read of a sector. The input of the SECTOR is stopped when an equal value is obtained between the signal DB and the DASDDATA. The value of the counter 11 at that moment, i.e., the sector address AB is sent to the CPU to start the write of the additional data to the sector. As a result, a twice reading of the filing device can be excluded by the start of writing of the additional data to the desired sector unlike the conventional method. Thus the data can be added to the desired sector in a short time. |
