<p>A gynaecological instrument for artificial insemination of, or transfer of embryo into, the vagina and/or uterus of animals, partic. cattle. The instrument is of the type comprising an injection tube of which the leading end is sleeved with an inflatable envelope. Inflation of the envelope takes place after insertion of the tube, inflation air being passed to the envelope via a passage in the wall of the tube. The leading end of the tube, complete with inflatable envelope, is now detachable from and renewable on the main body of the tube. A new leading end can be used for each animal.</p> |
