The drain is for the fixed or moving frame of a window made from steel or aluminium, where condensation or dripping water may occur. The curved drain (11) is placed at intervals along the bottom traverse and is connected to the central chamber (12) by brazing (15). The drain connects to the outside (13) without intermediate leakage and its exit to the outside is protected from the weather by a cowling of hard plastics (17).
