<p>The gas outlet has a housing (2) into which is connected the gas supply tube (11). The body is screwed onto an intermediate element (17). The length of this is adjustable by using bush(es) between the faces (13,16). A fuse (28) slides inside the intermediate element and supports a valve (22) at the extremity. A non-return valve (43) seats on the face of the female plug (48) which is screwed into the intermediate element. The screw thread is unique to the particular gas supplied to the outlet. When the take off tube is fitted to the outlet the two valves (22,43) are opened and gas flows to the appliance. The valves close automatically when the appliance is disconnected.</p> |
