Air cushion vehicle intended to move on land or water, having a platform (22) surrounded by an inflatable skirt (20) as well as lift means for establishing the air cushion under said platform and propulsion means. It is characterized in that the vehicle comprises between the platform and the skirt a belt (21) surrounding the platform and providing under the latter a first face (24) directed obliquelly towards the center of the platform and downwards, extending outwardly of the platform by a second horizontal face (25), that second face forming a support pad, at least one nozzle connected to the lift means opening under the platform into said first oblique face of the belt for the formation of the air cushion, said belt receiving on its outer periphery a profile section for fixing the skirt. This vehicle is intended for leasure or professional use.
