<p>The low embryo-transfer implantation cannula consists of two sealmess parts screwed together. A thin plastics tube with the embryo floating in nutrient fluid is inserted in the front part, which is 116mm. long. The total length, when assembled, is 535mm, the external diameter 4mm, and the inner diameter 2mm. At 5mm from the rounded tip there can be a 1.5mm diameter eye. The inner opening of the cannula can taper towards the eye over a distance of 15mm from it, thus being funnel-shaped. The metal part of the eye is pointed towards the tip and rounded on the other side.</p> |
