<p>The respirator assembly is carried underneath the protective clothing and supplies breathing gas via hose into the face mask, which is integral part of the equipment. The pressure gauge (4) is connected by a length of hose to the outlet end of the cylinder. The gauge (4) has on the dial side an enlarged rim (17) by which it is kept in position from the inside of the protective clothing in conjunction with an elastic circular lip (16) of the dial cover. The dial cover is fitted from the outside of the protective clothing (7). It has a threaded neck on which a tightening nut is fitted (15) fixing the cover in an airtight manner to the clothing (7) with the help of elastic washers (13, 14). The cover is fitted with protective glass window (9) on the outside resting against elastic ring (10) by pressure from inner tightening ring nut (12).</p> |
