Non anchored floor mounted door stop - is easily removed and returned to same position without using tools

For ease in carpet maintenance, cleaning and other purposes, provision is made for siting a door stop so that it is not anchored in the floor, but can be removed from its location without tools, using a simple handle, and then just as easily replaced in the same position. It is pref. firmly connected to a smooth shaft or coarse threaded screw and can have a clamping tongue running round the bottom edge. It can be seated in a socket anchored in the floor, pref. with an edge clamping groove.
