The housing (1) of the machine is provided at its lowest point with the suction unit comprising the motor (5) and turbine (6) as well as with the outlet to the outside of the connecting pipe of the intake pipe where the transitional pipe section (8,9) rises in the housing to the level of the lid. This transition pipe section comprises two parts detachably connected together where one part (8) is fixed to the housing whilst the other (9) is fixed to the lid to support the dust-bag (13) into which it opens. The heaviest part of the appts., i.e. the suction unit.
