Video telephone subscriber relative position presentation - using continuous call back to match subscriber's position so that movement from camera produces weaker signals

The process assists in maintaining the relative position w.r.t. the camera in a video telephone system. During the telephone conversation continuous call-back is used for automatic or additional position correction of the respective subscriber. For this purpose mechano-optical, or electron-optical elements are used. The design of these elements is such that a distinctive deterioration results on the subscriber's monitor, when he leaves imaging field. Alternately, a distinct, peripherally readable direct indication of the subscriber's position is provided, possibly with a correction directives. This optical presentation display may be supported acoustically in such a manner that leaving the image field results in reduced strength of the telephone signals.
