Energy absorption fence assembly - is flexible and may be shaken to remove ice from skin

The energy absorption fence consists of several individual elements, each element being fitted with a heat pump to utilise ambient heat. The elements consist of an elastically deformable skin (2), and may be shaken by hand, or pref. mechanically, to shake off any ice. The elements may be positioned in a shaft-like relationship relative to each other, to produce a chimney effect (5). Air enters downwards at the top and leaves sideways at the bottom. The skin (2) is stretched over tubes (4) at the top and bottom.
